Faith In Action

From sea to shining sea and Southwest through the Midwest, Southeast, and even to Ireland, Scotland, Europe, Germany, Hungary, Mexico and our troops in posts around the globe, our Order of Celtic Franciscans IS Faith in Action!

As a religious order of bi-vocational Chaplains you will find us teaching and working in schools with young adults and in hospitals in the Midwest; as Spiritual Directors and Counselors in the West; on the mean streets working with Police, Special Operations, and Crisis Negotiation Teams, running wellness and healing programs for veterans and active military as well as ecumenical and interfaith programs  retreats  and hospice care in the Southwest and Indian Country. Our reach, relationships, and Celtic Spiritual Anam Cara’s (soul friendships) were developed over long periods of time and even extend to the Holy Land.

 

As New Monastics and with God’s Grace we strive to live in balance and harmony with all beings and creatures as was God’s original intent and be an active force in the ongoing creation of the world.

 

The presence of Christ with us on our journey is real and assuring as we travel as Pilgrims through these times doing what is ours to do!
